Definition

The definition of Web accessibility, by Tim Berners-Lee, the director of W3C and inventor of the World Wide Web, is as follows:

« Make the Web and its services available to all individuals, regardless of their hardware or software, network infrastructure, native language, culture, geographic location, or physical or mental abilities. »

Relative font sizes

The site uses relative font sizes to enable you to adapt the size of the characters displayed using your browser's controls.
You can adjust the font size to suit your needs, but beyond a certain size, some elements may overlap and make reading difficult.

Relative content and sizing

This website aims to be as accessible as possible, but it's not perfect.

Compliance with standards: this site complies with the standards of the W3C in terms of web page development. Only the main pages (home, contacts, site map, search engine, ... and a few content pages) were tested.

The sizes of the blocks making up the page (menus, content, etc.) are expressed in relative units, so their dimensions adapt to the content.

Character sizes are defined with proportional units, i.e. you can change the size of the characters at your convenience using your browser's functions:

  • dans la plupart des navigateurs : Ctrl + « molette de la souris » fonctionne correctement,
  • Internet Explorer : menu « Affichage » -> « Taille du texte » et choisissez la taille qui vous convient,
  • Mozilla, Firefox ou Netscape : faites Ctrl + + pour agrandir le texte et Ctrl + - pour le diminuer,
  • Opera : appuyez sur les touches + ou - du pavé numérique, allez dans dans le menu « Affichage » -> « Zoom » et choisir le niveau de zoom qui vous convient.

L’utilisation de ces raccourcis clavier dépend de votre navigateur et de votre système d’exploitation :

Pour Windows :

  • Goocle Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Netscape : Alt + Shift, puis « Raccourci clavier »
  • Internet Explorer : Alt + « Raccourci clavier », puis Entrée
  • Opera : Esc (échappement) + Shift (majuscule), puis « Raccourci clavier »

Pour Macintosh :

  • Mozilla, Netscape : Ctrl + « Raccourci clavier »
  • Internet Explorer, Safari : Ctrl + « Raccourci clavier », puis Entrée
  • Opera : Esc (échappement) + Shift (majuscule), puis « Raccourci clavier

Pour Linux :

  • Mozilla Firefox : Alt + « Raccourci clavier »
  • Konqueror (3.3 ou +) : Ctrl, puis « Raccourci clavier »
  • Opera 7 : Esc (échappement) + Shift (majuscule), puis « Raccourci clavier »
